ออสเตรเลียแจ้งแก้ไขมาตรการสำหรับนำเข้าสับปะรด

ด้วยสำนักงานมาตรฐานสินค้าเกษตรและอาหารแห่งชาติได้รับแจ้งจากคณะผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำ WTO ว่าออสเตรเลียได้แจ้งต่อคณะกรรมการว่าด้วยมาตรการสุขอนามัยและสุขอนามัยพืชขององค์การการค้าโลก แก้ไขมาตรการสำหรับนำเข้าสับปะรดภายใต้ Notification หมายเลข G/SPS/N/AUS/139/Add.2 โดยแก้ไขมาตรการตามที่ไทยร้องขอให้มีการรมควัน ณ ด่านนำเข้า (on-share MB fumigation) แทนการรมควัน ณ ด่านส่งออกโดยมีผลบังคับใช้ตั้งแต่วันที่ 20 ตุลาคม 2546 เป็นต้นไป

Addendum

The following communication, dated 10 October 2003 has been received from Australia

Importation of fresh Pineapple fruit from the Philippines, the Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka and Thailand

Notification G/SPS/N/AUS/139/Add.1 of 12 November 2002 advised Members that the policy to allow imports of fresh pineapple fruit from the Philippines, the Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka and Thailand had been adopted.

Subsequently Thailand requested modification to the policy to provide for on-shore methyl bromide fumigation at ports of entry.

Biosecurity Australia has considered this request and accordingly modified the policy to allow on-shore mandatory methyl bromide fumigation of fresh pineapples. The modified policy is offective from 20 October 2003. All other conditions as per the original policy will continue to apply.
