As of our potential to be the 4th of food product's

export country in the world, especially agricultural

product. Then Thai government has a policy to

establish an export center of fresh fruit, fresh

vegetable, cut flower and any other fresh product

in order to compete free market in the world.

So that Thai cabinet has agreed to establish

perishable export center to servive all exporters

as one stop service. To do this it has to have

cooperation between public and private sector.

In 2003, the export volumn of agricultural product

including with its by product around 768.70 million

baht in term of amount, increasing 12.67% when

when compare with the last year as per the

following detail:

Aug 22,2001	Thai Agro Exchange Co.,Ltd. was selected to operate POSSEC
	This project was put in the planning of Economic and Social development no 9 (2002 - 2006)
